You might be here because…

You may be feeling overwhelmed, in transition, or carrying a quiet sense that something in your life wants attention.

Perhaps you’re navigating grief, questioning who you are becoming, or noticing patterns in relationships you want to understand more deeply. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and want more depth from therapy, not just coping, but meaningful change.

About Theresa Slater

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Art Therapist (DTATI) offering virtual therapy to adults across Ontario.

My clinical experience includes hospital, community, and supervised psychotherapy settings, where I have supported individuals and groups navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, and life transitions.

My work is grounded in compassion, accountability, flexibility, and genuineness. I bring a warm, attentive presence to the therapy virtual room and value creating a container where all parts of you are welcome.

I support clients in exploring themselves with depth and care, drawing from both talk therapy and art therapy when helpful. My practice offers trauma-informed relational therapy and a belief in the importance of being witnessed and supported as we grow.

My Approach

I draw from trauma-informed, relational, narrative, and art therapy approaches, and may integrate mindfulness, somatic awareness, and symbolic exploration when helpful.
